Songs of praise and joy filled the air, as BREATHE San Francisco presented its first concert of the year, SF ALIVE 2008 last Saturday, January 5th.
Held in the Olivet University chapel, the concert was an evening filled with music, media and message, offered in hopes of reviving and renewing the hearts of God?s people for the New Year.
Dr. Merril Smoak, advisor to the ministry, presided the event and delivered a message about revival, urging attendants back to the foundations of faith in Word, prayer, and sincere worship. Songs sung on the revival theme during the evening included "Here I am to Worship," "Hosanna," "Consuming Fire," and "One Way."
"It was really awesome!" commented one attendant. "I received a lot of grace through praising, and the message was really good too. I really look forward to more BREATHE events, and seeing the fire of the Holy Spirit come upon the Bay Area."
